DECISION

This is an employment dispute between BP (SS) Co. Ltd. and W R Carpenter Groups Salaried Staff Association (the Union) and Carpenters Fiji Limited (the Employer) concerning the forced resignation of Ms Premila Prasad (the Grievor).

The Dispute was referred to the Employment Tribunal on 12 November 2008 by the Mediation Unit. It was received by the Assistant Registrar of the Tribunal on 17 November 2008.

The Dispute was listed for mention on 25 November 2008. On that day the Union informed the Tribunal that the Grievor had provided written instructions that she did not wish to pursue the Dispute.

As a result the Union indicated that it sought to withdraw the Dispute. The Employer subsequently provided its written consent to that application.

The Dispute is therefore withdrawn by consent pursuant to section 216 (6) of the Employment Relations Promulgations 2008.
