ON APPLICATION FOR BAIL


Having considered the papers filed and submissions of counsel, I require the following information to enable me to properly consider the application for bail:


1. Details of the personal circumstances and history of the accused that are considered relevant to the grant of bail. The affidavit filed in support of the application only relates to delay.


2. The likelihood of the pathologist, Dr. A.J. Alera being called as a witness at the trial.


The decision on the application will be deferred until this information is provided. The matter will be called in chambers at 9.15am tomorrow 18th March 1997.
