JUDGMENT


[1] You are charged as follows:


Statement of Offence


MANSLAUGHTER Contrary to section 198 and 201 of the Penal Code, Cap. 17.


Particulars of Offence


TAZ LIAKAT ALI on the 11th day of October 2007 at Nadi in the Western Division, by an unlawful act caused the death of RICHARD TAVUA.


[2] You have been found not guilty on the unanimous opinion of three assessors of the charge. That finding is available on the evidence and in directing myself on my own Summing Up I agree with them.


[3] It is the Judgment of the Court that you are not guilty and you are acquitted of the charge and discharged.
