1. APPEAL AND ERROR – Dismissal, Grounds for – Failure to File Opening Brief: Appellant's failure to timely file an opening brief is grounds for dismissal.


[1] The Republic, as Appellant in the above case, having failed to file an Opening Brief and to request an extension of time therefor, the Court deems this appeal to have been abandoned. Therefore, it is ORDERED that the appeal is dismissed.
