Request to Users

The information published on PacLII belongs to the producers of the information and is provided to PacLII for processing and publication for free access. No restrictions are placed on the subsequent usage of the material and the use of the material is actively encouraged. As you may know, PacLII is a non-profit organisation and as such, survives wholly on donor funding. In order to remain a viable operation into the future it is important for us to demonstrate the use to which the materials we publish are put. We would therefore ask, if you are using our material for research purposes, that you would consider one or all of the following: (i) mentioning the use of the PacLII website in your acknowledgements (ii) send us an email telling us how the material we publish was of use to you in your particular area of research and (iii) sending a copy of the document to us for subsequent publication on PacLII if the publication is also open access.
