AN ACT

entitled

Inter-Governmental Relations (Functions and Funding) (2010 Budget Amendment) Act 2009,

Being an Act to amend the Inter-Governmental Relations (Functions and Funding) Act 2009,

MADE by the National Parliament and deemed to have come into operation on 1 January 2009.

1. DEFINITION (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 4).

Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended -

(a) by deleting the words and figures "Section 19 of the Bookmaking Act 1974" from the definition of "turnover tax" and substituting "Section 211 of the Gaming Control Act 2007"; and

(b) by deleting "Bookmaking Act 1974" and substituting (Gaming Control Act) 2002.

2. EQUALISATION AMOUNT AND NET NATIONAL REVENUE AMOUNT (AMENDMENT OF CLAUSE 4 OF SCHEDULE 1).

The Principal Act is amended by -

(a) deleting "2008" from Item 1 in Column 3 of the Table in Schedule 4(1) and substituting "2007"; and

(b) deleting "20010" from Item 2 in Column 2 of the Table in Subclause 4(1) and substituting "2010"; and

(c) deleting "2009" from Item 2 in Column 3 of the Table in Subclause 4(1) and substituting "2008"; and

(d) deleting "2010" from Item 3 in Column 3 of the Table in Subclause 4(1) and substituting "2009"; and

(e) deleting "2011" from Item 4 in Column 3 of the Table in Subclause 4(1) and substituting "2010"; and

(f) deleting "2012" from Item 5 in Column 3 of the Table in Subclause 4(1) and substituting "2011".
