An Act

entitled

Survey (Amendment) Act 2016

Being an Act to amend the Survey Act (Chapter 95) to remove fees and charges powers, and for related purposes,

MADE by the National Parliament to come into operation in accordance with a notice in the National Gazette by the Head of State, acting with, and in accordance with, the advice of the Minister.

1. MANNER OF REGISTRATION OF SURVEYORS (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 17).

Section 17 of the Principal Act is amended in Subsection (3), by deleting the word "prescribed".

2. QUALIFICATIONS FOR REGISTRATION AS A SURVEYOR (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 18).

Section 18 of the Principal Act is amended in Subsection (3), Paragraph (b), by deleting the word "prescribed".

3. ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 19).

Section 19 of the Principal Act is amended in Subsection (1), by deleting the word "prescribed".

4. MANNER OF REGISTRATION OF CERTIFIED MEASURER (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 19A).

Section 19A of the Principal Act is amended Subsection (3), by deleting the word "prescribed".

5. QUALIFICATIONS FOR REGISTRATION AS A CERTIFIED MEASURER (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 19B).

Section 19B of the Principal Act is amended in Subsection (4), Paragraph (b), by deleting the word "prescribed".

6. ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 19C).

Section 19C of the Principal Act is amended in Subsection (1), by deleting the word "prescribed".

7. REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 55).

Section 55 of the Principal Act is amended by repealing Paragraph (a).

8. CONTINUANCE OF FORMER ACTS, ETC.

All acts, matters or things done or suffered or deemed to have been done or suffered or taken, or procedural steps taken under or for the purposes of the Principal Act and having effect immediately before the coming into operation of this Act, shall, after that coming into operation, continue in full force and effect until those acts, matters, things or procedural steps are otherwise replaced.
